The BelugaT is made with a jet engine.
The high glide-ratio and fast speed make the perfect combination for air defense practice. The planes profile however doesn't allow for parachute or net landings. During take-off the rudders require a flat runway, but these difficulties pay-off in the air where the plane is precise, fast and acts like a true queen. Both in time and space it manages perfect maneuvers and enables high-altitude flights as well.
From 2009 to these days it is the practice target for air-defense.
